Karis Quick Tips:
-
Type your resume and
reference list on plain
white bond paper
-
Pick up a job
application ahead of
time and make several
copies to use in case
you make a mistake. This
is the first impression
your future employer
will have of you.
-
When filling out a job
application use black
ink. Using colored ink
or pencil will make you
appear juvenile or
immature.
-
Once you have filled out the
job application, place it
along with your resume in a
folder (one with an inside
pocket). Take the
folder with you to the
interview, armed
with your folder you will
appear prepared and serious
about employment.
A workbook is included in this
session.
The Etiquette and
Leadership Institute developed
the curriculum used in this
program.
