Children's Etiquette


The classes are fun and informative! Learning courtesy and respect with etiquette-filled activities provides many advantages to preparing this age group for their teen and adult years.

Classes are held weekly. 

Parents are given weekly updates on class topics.  

These programs are geared for children 3rd through 6th grade.

Topics covered in these programs include:

Introductions - 
Good Posture, Eye Contact, Handshakes, Introducing yourself and others

Courtesies that Count -
Giving and Receiving Compliments,  Thank You notes, Practice Kindness and the Dos and Don'
ts of Polite Conversation

Telephone Etiquette -
Answering Machines, Voice Mail and Call Waiting, Telephone Smarts and other Dos and Don
'
ts

The Etiquette of Public Places -
Movie Theaters, Restrooms, Elevators, Escalators and Stairs

Social Courtesies -
Planning a Party, Accepting and Declining Invitations, Being a Great Host, Hostess or Guest

Each child will receive a workbook to use in the class and to keep on hand for future reference. The Etiquette and Leadership Institute developed the curriculum used in this program.
